A vacuum cleaner – a good one
When buying a vacuum cleaner, it is worth to buy one with the good quality. This is because vacuum cleaner will be used frequently and for long time. You need to choose one with long durability; this is because vacuum cleaner works on carpets and hard surfaces such as wood, laminate and vinyl. There are 2 main vacuum cleaner types in the market: upright cleaner and cylinder cleaner. In general, the upright positions vacuums are best when you have a house with large areas of carpet.
A floor mop (and bucket)

The best choice is between a traditional string or cloth strips mop which require special bucket with wringer to remove excess moisture or water. The choice is much more on preference and how large is the area you want to clean. To clean larger floors, using traditional mops are faster.

If you spilled something and don’t want to use vacuum cleaner, soft-bristled brush will come handy to wipe spills. Use that with stiff bristles on mats and carpets spills. But if you buy brush integrated with a cover and clean it regularly, I think is the easiest way to clean the toilets.
